Sonu Kakkar Facts

After her parents shifted from Rishikesh to Uttam Nagar, Delhi, she began singing in jagrans when she was just 5 years old.

Sonu Kakkar moved to Mumbai and Bollywood music director Sandeep Chowta heard her singing in a singing competition, called Indian Pop Star, on channel V. He then gave her a break with the song Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo.

In 2021, Sonu appeared as a judge on the singing competition show, Indian Idol.
